The Disaster Recovery Toolkit comprises checklists, questionnaires and framework to help ensure a fully comprehensive review of both the disaster recovery plan and the supporting contingency arrangments. It also includes items addressing business impact and dependency analysis.
THE DISASTER RECOVERY TOOLKIT
The Disaster Recovery Toolkit itself provided in two formats: PDF and RTF. The latter format is provided for those who wish to import the documents into MS-Word or similar word processing package, possibly for tailoring or for adding additional issues. The documents include:
- A checklist, framework and action list for disaster recovery planning
- An audit questionnaire for the disaster recovery plan itself (if you have one)
- A general contingency audit questionnaire
- A comprehensive business impact analysis questionnaire.
- A 'dependency analysis' document... questions and guidence for a wide range or services and resources
The toolkit is used in over 40 countries throughout the world, and is intended to provide a both framework and the assurance you need that your contingency arrangements will succeed when most needed.
